The Building Chapter offers a variety of training, both in-person and on-line. Training opportunities are listed below, for more information click on the training sessions listed on the left.

Construction Supervision Fundamentals

CSF is designed by AGC of America, specifically to meet the needs of the learner as well as the construction industry. Developed and field tested by contractors and for use in training new supervisor, or newly promoted foremen, or anyone who seeks career advancement. Click here for more information.

Supervisory Training Program

STP is a construction specific training curriculum developed, updated, field-tested, and taught by construction professionals. It is a blended learning experience for all levels of management--without leaving your company site. Online blended learning format means devoting 4 hours per week to reading, listening to podcast, and online coursework, plus 60-minute live video conference class at 3:30pm once a week. Print Reading 101

The Nebraska Building Chapter’s Print Reading 101 is a 10-hour construction-specific, in-house, flexible training series developed by a construction educator with field experience. Click here for more information.

Lean Construction

Lean Construction is based on the holistic pursuit of continuous improvements aimed at minimizing costs and maximizing value on a construction project: planning, design, construction, activation, operations, maintenance, salvaging, and recycling. Click here for more information.

BIM Education Program

AGC's Building Information Modeling Education Program (BIM EP) is designed to educate construction professionals at all experience levels in BIM concepts and processes.
