You may think your company is in the clear if you don’t have underaged youth working for you, but what if your suppliers do? The DOL issued new guidance in August 2023 making it clear that it is attacking the problem of child labor by going after the goods produced in establishments “in or about which” oppressive child labor was utilized. This could have real impact on companies that use goods/materials/supplies in their businesses….know any construction companies that do that?
