National Stand-Down to Prevent Struck-by Incidents held during National Work Zone Awareness Week
The National Stand-Down to Prevent Struck-by Incidents -- held during National Work Zone Awareness Week -- provides an opportunity for employers to talk directly to employees about struck-by safety. Struck-by incidents remain a leading cause of death among construction workers and the leading cause of nonfatal injuries.
Any workplace can hold a stand-down by taking a break to focus on “Struck-by Hazards” and reinforcing the importance of training and prevention. CPWR will be hosting virtual events during the week -- stay tuned for more and check out our Struck-by Hazards page for resources and past recordings.
