Construction Leadership Academy

Participants & Workshop Leaders

Academy Participants must be recommended and supported by their employer and have an identified mentor, along with a commitment to attend all six sessions. The Academy will run December 2016 to March 2017, meeting for a half-day of training each time. The first and last workshop will start at 12:00 noon and each additional workshop will start at 1:00pm and are scheduled approximately every three weeks during the four-month Academy. Participant attendance is mandatory; the mentors must attend the first and last session. The top leader of the firm will be invited and encouraged to attend the last session in March.

Participants in the Academy ideally should have a minimum of five years of professional experience.

The Academy Workshops will be facilitated byPat Kahm, Professional Resources Management, Inc., (PRM, Inc.) Pat is founder and President of PRM, Inc. She has a B.S. Degree in Human Resources and has the Senior Professional Human Resources accreditation, the highest certification given to HR professionals. Pat has more than 25 years of experience working with many local and national industries including commercial construction, in the area of selection, team building, strategic planning and leadership development. She is also certified to use Personalysis; a tool used by firms for assessment and development of their people. Pat has served as the President of Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA), in various leader positions on many other non-profit boards and currently is a volunteer conducting Bible studies at the Lancaster County Jail.
