The Nebraska Building Chapter is the professional association of the building construction industry in Nebraska. The chapter works for the member in many ways. Members take advantage of cost savings for many products and services such as training and educational activities, along with safety programs, materials and consultations. Through the organization's lobbying efforts, you have direct input into local, state and national legislation affecting the industry. Recruiting and educating the future work force for the industry is also a major focus of the organization.
The building construction industry is continually evolving, making it important and challenging to keep up-to-date. The Nebraska Building Chapter will keep you informed of industry news, regulation changes and opportunities through weekly e-messages and fax, a bi-monthly publication, training opportunities, regional listening meetings and conferences. An important part of belonging to a professional association is networking with your colleagues and fellow business owners/managers. Activities are planned throughout the year to allow for networking and socializing, along with information updating, skill attainment, problem-solving/consulting and all other staff development activities.
In our fast-paced, ever changing society, a successful association will also be in constant change.
