The grant requirements "highly" encourage that all training for existing employees should lead to some type of credential or CEUs for a credential. Please read further for the new AGC BIM Managment Credential. The Building to LEED-New Construction course will qualify for GBCI Continued Learning Credits. There will be a monthly opportunity to enroll in a LEED-AP Green Associate Test Prep Webinar to prepare to take the LEED-AP Green Associate Exam offered through the Green Building Certification Institute. Other short courses are being identified as we go.

STAYING AHEAD OF THE INDUSTRY- NEW BIM CREDENTIAL
AGC of America has launched a new credential: the Certificate of Management-BIM in September 2011. This will be the construction industry’s first and only BIM assessment-based certificate program that teaches the practical application of BIM for commercial construction firms. The credential will be available to graduates of the AGC BIM Education Program who pass an exam. Complete the courses now and be ready to take the exam whenyou finish the courses.

BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING (BIM) EDUCATION PROGRAM
Early on AGC of America recognized BIM would be the next “thing” in the construction industry and made a commitment to provide members with the best educational tools they could to prepare for the technology and stay on the cutting edge of the industry. To meet this commitment AGCA developed a series of four training courses for construction professionals.

The BIM Education Program is comprised of four courses: BIM 101; BIM Technology; BIM Contract Negotiation & Risk Allocation; and BIM Process, Adoption & Integration. All four courses will be offered and qualify for free tuition for qualifying participants.
