1. Locate the chapter’s constitution or by-laws and update and revise to match with your current way of operating.
2. Plan a minimum of two community service projects that involve the entire membership.
3. Plan at least four programs (they can be short in length) to enhance member’s education and/or professional development.
4. Plan several fund raising events.
5. Take part in and use the resources available to members via the Building Chapter.
6. Strive for total member engagement in the organization. Start to plan ahead with the membership to keep the same people involved during their entire college career. Organizations need this for continuity from year-to-year.

WHAT THE AGC NEBRASKA BUILDING CHAPTER WILL PROVIDE THE STUDENT CHAPTERS:

1. A Fall and Spring event for all Student Chapter members. 
2. Five to six scholarships awarded to Student Chapter members each year.
3. Education funds will be provided via a grant process to each Student Chapter specific projects that enhance the education and professional development of the members.
4. Networking opportunities will be provided to meet contractor members.
5. The Executive Director will assist in identifying resources and will participate in Student Chapter activities and meetings as requested.
