Mission Statement for the Nebraska Building Chapter:
We are an association of building construction professionals dedicated to represent the best interest of the construction industry through the promotion of skills, integrity and responsibility.
Strategic Initiative for 2008-09 is membership development, retention and recruitment.
Committee Goal/Objective:
To create a channel of membership involvement to maximize membership growth and loyalty by maintaining a 90% annual retention rate of existing members and increasing new membership by 15% each year.
Committee Membership:
The committee chair will be appointed by the President of the Chapter Board of Directors. The committee chair will be reappointed on an annual basis if all parties are in agreement.
The membership of the committee will be on a voluntary basis, but ideally should provide equal representation, by regions, for all members across the state. The Executive Director will be a standing member of the committee. The committee chair or an appointed committee member will present the recommendations of the committee to the Executive Committee of the Board on an as needed basis.
Committee Responsibilities:
- Create a Membership Development Plan
- Assist with the implementation of the MDP
- Provide input and recommendations for a Member Awards/Recognition Program
- Provide input and recommendation to create and implement a Marketing Plan for the Association annual planning process
