The Construction Learning Center
|
The construction learning center is about ready to premier at the Nebraska State Fair. Many people have been involved in organizing and planning for this event; August 28th-September 7th. One of the major players in making this happen is the AGC Student Chapter at Southeast Community College-Milford Campus. The members and officers of this chapter have volunteered to fill over 45 work shifts at the fair. In addition, the Milford Campus members are responsible for two major children’s activities; the Step Stool Building Project and the Block Kids Building Competition. Emerging Construction Professionals Forum |
Emerging Construction Professionals Forum has had two successful seasons. MCA-Omaha, NECA and AGC Building Chapter support the forum for younger professionals in the construction industry. After two seasons we have made the decision that it is time to stop and evaluate the objective and direction of the forum. MCA-Omaha and our chapter have formed a joint committee to plan for the future. The goal is to have something new and improved to role out by January.
