Members Receiving Unauthorized Membership Invoices

The National Association of General Contractors and Subcontractors is in NO WAY AFFILIATED with AGC of America or any of the local state chapters.  After reports in 2009 regarding an unaffiliated Membership Directory Listing Application, they are at it again, this time under the guise of a Membership Invoice.  Specifically, AGC members have reported receiving the dues invoices via fax from the National Association of General Contractors and Subcontractors, Inc.  In the past, AGC of America has written to this organization, insisting that it cease and desist from any further use of its confusing language.  In the wake of the most recent events, AGC of America is, once again, considering its legal options.

AGC membership dues invoices or notices WILL ALWAYS COME FROM THE Nebraska Building Chapter and will have our address on it.  All national dues are paid to the state chapters who in turn remit the dues to AGC of America.

LEED-AP Test Prep Course

If you missed the start of the January session of LEED Green Associate Course: you have another chance in February, starting on the 3rd. Click here for details.  This is a great learning opportunity to participate in from the warm comforts of your home or office.

Erin and Bill from Beckenhauer Construction, Norfolk, took the course in December.  Here is what Erin had to say about the course:  “I thought the webinar was very informative.  It included a study guide, access to recordings of all the online courses and several practice tests.  The presenters were very good and gave a lot of examples to bring more meaning to the different concepts.  The interaction was great and very easy to get any questions answered.  There is also an online forum for continued feedback after the course is over.”
